EpiRAS TT for concentrator solar cells

The application of EpiRAS®TT in solar cell development ranges from routine in-situ growth monitoring of multilayer structures to detailed spectrometric analyses of critical epilayers.

The RAS (Reflectance Anisotropy Spectroscopy) method provides insight into growth mechanisms of cubic materials for solar cell applications. The sensor enables:

  • growth rate analysis
  • morphology and interface formation studies
  • surface stoichiometry determination of the epi layers
